La Jolla Cove always delivers for me.  Especially when I have a couple so willing to follow my antics and get a bit wet!  Keep an eye open for more of Courtney and Chris after their wedding in October .

Chelsea and Ryan asked to have their engagement shoot at the University of San Diego.  They met there while in school and the rest is history!  How fun to capture “where it all began”.  We also traveled to La Jolla Cove to add to the eclectic mix of images.  Chelsea assisted a coordinator on another wedding I recently shot.  I am super flattered that she has now asked me to take pictures of her wedding.  It will be a lot of fun to see her enjoying all of the perks she usually puts toward her clients!  Their wedding is this month at The Prado.

Nasim and Brian were super enthusiastic about their engagement session.  We covered a lot of ground taking pictures downtown in the Gaslamp District, then moving on up the coast for some classic beach images at La Jolla Cove.  I am expecting some terrific photographic opportunities at their upcoming wedding at the St. Therese of Carmel church and reception at Paradise Point Resort & Spa in Mission Bay. See you both in next week!

Carlee and Doug certainly know how to have fun!  They weren’t afraid to try anything at their recent engagement shoot, including getting drenched in the fountain at Balboa Park.  I think you can tell by these images that their October wedding, at the Catamaran Resort, will probably be a great time!

A week or so ago I photographed Hong Hyun & Darwin’s wedding at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club.  It was a beautiful event that I will share with you all soon!  But in the mean time I thought you might enjoy a peek at their engagement images that we were able to capture this summer.  We met up at one of my favorite beach spots, La Jolla Cove.  

Courtney and Brent are well ahead of the game.  With their wedding not until June of 2010 I imagine they are having a hard time waiting for the big day!  We recently met in downtown San Diego for their engagement shoot.  All of the visual geometry there adds a really fun element to their images.  Keep an eye open for them next summer, their wedding will be at the charming La Valencia in La Jolla.

Tim and Caroline’s engagement shoot took me back to Balboa Park.  These two are so photogenic and a lot of fun to work with.  I have a feeling their September wedding at the Darlington House is going to be breathtaking!

For Alicia and Reza’s engagement shoot I had the chance to travel up the coast to the historic San Juan Capistrano train station.  Wow, were there a lot of great spots to take pictures!  Alicia and Reza’s wedding coordinator is a past bridal client of mine so I feel an extra connection to the couple already.  Look for more of their images after their wedding this coming June.

Recently I met up with Matt and Jennifer for a fun engagement shoot.  They are really ahead of the game with their wedding still almost a year away!  We spent some time getting great images at one of my favorite San Diego spots – Balboa Park.  They have chosen the Rancho Bernardo Inn for their wedding ceremony and reception.  The RB Inn has such a luxurious feel nestled in between the golf courses.  It’s right around the corner from my office and is a great venue.  I look forward to seeing Matt and Jennifer again in January!
